How can we help?
Help with using the app, saved counts, reading and sharing.
Common questions
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Bundled adhkar, search, favorites, and counting work offline without an account. Opening external links or sharing to another app may need a connection, depending on the destination.
When do the adhkar repetition counters reset?
Adhkar repetition counters return to zero at the start of a new day according to your device’s local date and time zone. The app updates at midnight while active, or when you open or return to it.
Your favorites, settings, and history of daily counting totals remain saved. Changing time zones to a different local date can start a new counting day. Changing the calendar display preference alone does not reset the counters.
Does my tasbih count survive closing the app?
The tasbih count and cycle length are saved on your device after each change. They remain when you close and reopen the app or start a new day. Changing language or cycle length does not reset your count; your newly selected cycle length is saved.
Choose 33, 100, 1,000, or Unlimited. Completing a cycle does not reset the total or stop counting. To reset it, select Start a new count and confirm Reset counter. Daily and lifetime totals remain saved.
How do I save a dhikr image to Photos?
- Open an entry’s Share menu, then choose Share as image.
- Review the preview and choose the image content and size. Longer texts may span several images.
- Select Share images, then Save Image in the system share sheet. The label may differ when saving multiple images.
Saving is optional. The system may request add-only access to Photos; the app does not need to read your photo library. Declining this permission does not prevent reading or using the rest of the app. If saving fails, check the Photos permission and available storage in your device settings.
How do I change language, and why is some text still Arabic?
Open Settings → App language and choose العربية, English, or Français. Your choice is saved on your device.
Translations are available for some texts only. When an English or French translation is unavailable, the app shows a notice and keeps the Arabic text. Image sharing also uses Arabic when the selected translation is unavailable.
How do I change text size or appearance?
In Settings, adjust Reading text size and check the reading preview. You can show or hide Arabic diacritics and choose a light, dark, or system appearance. The app also responds to your preferred accessibility text size in system settings.
The reading text size setting does not change the text size in shared images.
Why can’t I feel haptic feedback while counting?
Enable Haptics when counting in Settings. Feedback depends on device support and system settings, and may be unavailable on some devices. Counting still works without it.
Is my progress synced or backed up?
Favorites, settings, and counts are stored locally on your device. The app currently has no account sync or in-app data export, import, or recovery tool.
Deleting the app or losing the device can result in lost data. Recovery from a device backup is not guaranteed.
What should I do if a progress-saving error appears?
Check that your device has available storage. If saved progress cannot be read, the app preserves the previous file and tells you that this session’s progress is temporary. Avoid deleting the app while troubleshooting. Contact support with the error message and the steps that led to it.
How do I report an issue in a text or translation?
Email info@abdullah4.ai with the category, entry, language, and your correction or a useful reference. These details help us review the issue accurately.
